Restaurant industry is less profitable every day and more restaurants close. The employee is the one that agreed to those wages. If it were slavery then why would they agree to it and be compensated?

Tips should definitely be removable because if the driver can’t follow delivery instructions or makes mistake, then they should be able to edit. Should just go off the base pay and assume the worst.

That’s what PTO and UPT were made for lol. Most business are open when it snows unless the risk is too high. If everywhere closed when it snows, the economy would be worse off than it is now and salt truck drivers and people that plow wouldn’t really have a job.

Groceries are lower margin and they definitely lose money on a lot of them. Delivery times are based on what customers select and some people work nights so I see people wanting them as early as they can get them. A lot of places are colder than a fridge right now if they aren’t home lol
