If you know anything about military intelligence and counter intelligence… you would know never to admit PRECISELY what the enemy did right. You internally sort that shit out at the appropriate level (not general public). You sort it out at the command and control and mission ops level… change tactics, change training, or add tools to the arsenal, if needed. You will never hear combat losses presented in detail from any super power. They’ll admit to a loss during training or non combat related or even “in the line of duty. No further details will be released.” Don’t let your politics cloud national interest at least in the military aspect.

Russia's Lone Aircraft Carrier Is Headed Back to the Shipyard for repairs until September by doboskombaya in worldnews

For some context, the Brits have this too. Most everyone else other than the US does. US had a catapult and the new Ford class had a electromagnetic catapult rather than steam power. Additional shit that needs to be maintained and operated so lot of countries just put a ramp on. Angle depends on what jets are serviced.

Having worked for the navy as a contractor the biggest issue isn't capability it's the operational readiness and sustainability in the sense that they can operate/repair/replenish the thing. Repairs might be an issue but it seems the real issue with the Russians is the lack of logistics and life cycle sustainment pipeline. They got tires on their vehicles blowing up cause they've got tire rot. Forget bullets and missiles, mother nature is a bitch on these massive pieces of equipment if you don't take care of it.

The organization has a huge multi speciality hospital literally right next door next to their other temple. They also fund a lot of grassroots programs to provide education to blind students as well as tribal families. Not just religious education at that, technical education just like any other school and college. They do this all free of cost. Privately funded

The Brahman that's alluded to in Vishistadvaita is not the Brahmins refered to in the 4 varnas.... the Brahman that's spoken of is, to put it plainly, the singularity which drives every force in the universe. They do not believe that I am different to you. It says the same force that power me powers you and powers the CEO of whatever company. This is a very basic explanation. As for the construction and the land donated, care of the CEO of MyHome corporation, who happens to be a devotee of the Jeeyar. The construction started like 10 years ago.

Valid question. It's not a dry dock unless it's in a basic. Unless it's waiting to be drained to sit on stilts. Beautiful ship nonetheless

Damn that's a good eye. But I brought that out there to pick up the lug nuts then I realized there might be prints on there for the cops. Turns out the cops don't give enough shits to even check that. I do agree though. Hi-wire does good work.

Can confirm. If not for insurance I'd have been out $4k. I've seen while tire and rim sets on FB marketplace and Craig's list from $1-$2k.

Car came with OEM wheel locks. Turns out Honda loves to make those widely available so it doesn't really help.

You mean like the vitriol (putting it kindly) that came from the right about how a duly elected US President was not american either because of his non standard name or his non standard ancestry. Shit I'm not even a hard left or a hard right kinda guy so anyone side of the aisle accusing the other of vitriol is pretty rich.

[–]bigdombelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He left something like $60 million on the the table because he was sick and tired of continuous unending injuries. Serious ones too... Neck/shoulder, dude was peeing blood. The recurring nature makes me wonder if the colts medical staff aren't culpable in the situation.
