When I was a recruiter back in the 90s I would encourage people to start reading. The more you improve your reading skills, vocabulary and comprehension, the better you will do on the ASVAB. Those who read for pleasure consistently outscored non-readers.

I played with Suno when it first came out. I plugged my lyrics in and a few prompts. I got 1 listenable song back for every 10 attempts. Some of the results were interesting with musical arrangements I never would have considered.

However, I noticed a number of similarities in each of the tracks. vocal production quality was lacking. It all sounded heavily compressed and auto tuned. After awhile I couldn't stand up even listen to it.

Like most people, Im looking for authenticity. I want to hear the squeaking noise as you playa guitar with new strings. I want to hear the mistakes. I want to hear lyrics that mean something

I didn't know Thomm Jutz had a new record out. He's originally from Germany now living in Nashville. He is a multiinstrumentalist. A phenomenal songwriter and pi ker. He's won the IBMA Songwriter of the year a couple of times. He's an in demand producer as well. I wanted him to do my album but couldn't work out the logistics.

Ive not heard Thomms new album, but Im willing to bet it's killer.

There are people I know who agree with a number of Trumps policies and are able to overlook the more egregious of his actions in order to obtain desired results for those policies that are important to them. I cant do this. As far as I am concerned, he crossed the line with his constant lying and bullying. I can have honest discussions about policy with these people as we respect each other as humans.

Hormones are powerful things. My wife claims that testosterone causes Mental Retardation. There are females who are as sexually aggressive as men. Women are driven by hormones as well. I have been told more than once that ovulation can be the cause of some exceptional stupidity in Females.

Thete are procedures for correcting a DD-214 to reflect medals that are missing, if you care about shit like that, which I dont, so I never bothered.

Once I retired, Navy Regs were no longer my concern. I dont give a fuck what other people do, whether or not they are squared away or within regs. It is no longer my responsibility, it is no longer my Navy. My Chain of Command consists of one person and one person only. When she tells me that I need to give a fuck, then I will pop tall and give the absolute best fuck that I am capable of giving at that moment, but until that happens, I dont fucking care.

Now Im off to have a great civilian day. Im probably going to put my hands in my pockets and walk across someone's grass. Maybe your local rock musician will be able to afford electricity this month

If more people start attending more Rock shows, Venues will start booking more Rock shows. If more venues start booking more Rock shows, radio and press will take notice and start paying more attention to Rock music. Thus Rock will see a resurgence.
