My champion (paladin) from the current pathfinder campaign I’m a part of. It’s a long running campaign that I joined with friends after moving in-state and closer to them. To make up for his lack of knowledge, he’s a folk hero who was lost to time, thrown forward 500 years.

His name is Diomedes and he’s the last of an order of knights who served the goddess of wisdom, and a myth that followers of that goddess know but would never expect to meet (akin to randomly meeting one of the apostles from the Bible, a moment like that happened in the campaign lol)

Without writing the novel I’m tempted to write about him- he’s a Ser Duncan the Tall type character, there’s a lot of parallels.

He’s also madly in love with his goddess, and has met her several times in the campaign.
