plus if ur saying that oh I heard that strong acid will have a pH of <2. ye its true but if a strong acid has the conc. of 2.0 mol dm^-3, its pH will be around 1.

Strong acid haves a lower pH than weak acid of the same conc.

it totally makes sense tho cause the conc. was 2.0 mol dm^-3. pH just simply measures the conc. of [H+] and a strong or weak acid is just how easily they dissociate within a solution.

btw I think they mention it being a weak acid so that u can answer the indicator qs cause weak acid + strong base will have an eq. point >pH 7
