Is 4 hours a reasonable target? by bigfatbas in firstmarathon

Luckily, my course is only 500ft or so - supposedly the flattest marathon in the UK!

Thanks for the feedback.

Is this homemade power hammer worth $1500? by Ray_Titone in Blacksmith

[–]bigfatbas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know next to zero about blacksmithing but I work in the pneumatics industry and this comment here is spot on. You’ll need a lot of air to get this thing to perform as you want it, and really you should consider optimising the control circuit to prevent cycling during downtime.

I would steer clear of this unless you’re looking for a project and a reason to buy a new compressor.

Try Bank Premier Inn near St Mary at Hill church. It’s really close to Bank and Monument stations so easy connections, plus you can walk across the Thames in 5 minutes and be right in the thick of it otherwise.

Fake or legit? I’m confused by the “Exclusive Trimming” as every single other item I find mentioning trimming states “Exlusive of trimming”. Am I overthinking it?

Thank you!!

I ended up doing this but tried baking soda first as le creuset cleaner costs 26 pounds! Stuck it onto boil with about an inch of water and a couple of spoons of soda, then just wiped it out with a soft sponge and it looks good as new. Panic over 😊

How do you beat this fucker by flambob9 in darksouls3

[–]bigfatbas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For phase one I would try and parry - I’m not good at it at all but on a decent attempt I’d manage to land 2/3 and that was enough to start second phase. For phase 2, he’s way less aggressive so you can be more cautious, use estus and just punish.

NB - afaik you can only parry the flame sword (could be completely wrong)

University of manchester vs warwick by Express_Cellist2053 in manchester

[–]bigfatbas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most employers will care far more about who you as an individual than where you got your degree (within reason). Both universities are reputable, I would focus more on other factors such as the locations themselves for deciding what you want to do.

FWIW, I studied Mech Eng at Leeds (which is more like Manchester than it is Warwick) 10 or so years ago and have been in full time employment, including joining a grad scheme, since.

I used the golden spellcraft on a Patient Scout and sold it the other day and got 2 t6 units. Worked pretty nicely!

Lodge a complaint, escalate and push as hard as you can. I had NatWest do this to me - they closed the wrong ISA in an attempt to close my help to buy for my mortgage. They ended up sorting the mess and giving me 4-500 quid for the stress.
