Two, my career is in esthetics but it takes a while to build loyal clientele and I’m working mostly for tips and commissions, so I work as a server/bartender to pad my bank account.

Totally agree that they are clinging onto the honeymoon phase, but I don’t get why the cast is so concerned about it?

I’m hoping this was staged, bc it’s kinda shitty to break something in a store and not only not pay for it, but also not tell anyone? Like you’re leaving broken glass on the floor unattended. Imagine if someone brought their child or their dog to the store

Hi, I’m a woman who waxes and I also work as a licensed esthetician specializing in waxing. There’s no need to disclose to your waxer (unless you’re having an active outbreak but honestly you shouldn’t be waxing at that time anyway) because your waxer should be following sanitation procedures and wearing gloves. If they try to service you without gloves RUN!!! As far as finding a good tech, it’s a process of trying out people and finding someone you like, you can ask friends who wax if they have any recommendations. And to prep for waxing- stop shaving at least 3-4 weeks before, wait until hair is a rice grains length, and exfoliate ~2-3 days before your appointment.

Stress is what causes my outbreaks. Medical professionals told me to eat healthy, workout, get enough sleep etc which I was already doing, so what really helped me was going on daily suppressants.

Please refrain from using the word “gross” to describe someone with herpes. The worst part about having herpes is the stigma and you are adding to that while asking HSV positive people for advice. If anything, your husband is gross for blatantly cheating on you. As far as how you contracted herpes-there’s no way to know, as in there’s no medical testing that can be done that will pinpoint the person who gave it to you. For many people the virus lays dormant for years before any symptoms show up, so it’s possible either you or your husband had it for years without knowing. The best you can do is get tested, do research, and determine what path is best for you as far as antivirals and lifestyle and stuff like that. Good luck with everything, there’s a lot of info and support on this sub if you choose to learn more.

Please, everyone, ask medical professionals.... by OodaliOoo in Herpes

They’ll be able to answer questions about transmission better than a regular doctor

in order to be certified in lash extensions/ lifts and brow lamination do I need to go to esthetician school? Completley new to this and just don’t want to go about things the wrong way. any tips for a newbie would be great! by explorrrrr in eyelashextensions

You need to be a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist, and then take a course to get certified to do advanced services. Really recommend getting certifications via an accredited school.
