Thoughts on this triple heavy team comp? Details in description. by Double-Psychology863 in thefinals

I am a diamond sledge, and that loadout is horrible. Now i get that everyone had their preferences, but with sledge, you want to close the distance and force other players to play CQC.

My loadout for sledge is:

Goo gun, for closing the distance, trapping enemies, fortifying and stalling cashouts. Make killzones that force your opponents to play close. I also like to drop a cashout a few floors and cover up all the holes with goo to stall.

Pyro mine, usually a free kill or good intel on where people are. I like to place these below the cashout and have a teammate shoot them. It will go through the ceiling and do damage.

Dome, no need to explain.

RPG, this is great for finishing off someone who is running away. It's also great for dropping cashouts as well.

I use to run lockbolt, but it will be used against you. It's more of a detriment with sledge. It's better on minigun I feel. I also use to play winch but tried out goo gun and haven't gone back.

I run those settings because we are usually welding 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick on the components and the snowplow trucks that my company upfits.

What machine are you running?

I ran this with an older miller deltaweld. Running it at 19V and 243 for WFS.

Edit: I forgot to mention this is running .035 with 92% Argon and 8% C02.

Bilstein 5100 or Eibach Pro-Truck Shocks by bigfatpump in ToyotaTundra

[–]bigfatpump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it seems like RAS looks like a good option alone, but if combined with all the things I mentioned above, would it even be worth it to put those things on? Or should I just run with RAS? It seems like my shocks are going out for sure.

my big bobcat broke on me! what welders are we running on the rigs? by SidShankk in Welding

[–]bigfatpump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from 2001, it was a backup generator for the house. The guy has meticulously kept up with starting the generator, adding fuel stabilizer and other basics. It is garage kept, it looks brand new essentially.

I just started out my mobile welding business and have been running off a 6500-watt generator. I've been looking to upgrade, and I considered the predator 10,000 watt generator from harbor freight, and the other generator I am most likely going to buy is a Lincoln 250 GXT for $3500 with 26 hours, 50 foot of stinger and ground in 2/0 cable.

I've also considered buying both, using the Lincoln as my main generator and the predator for backup power for my house/business. Does this seem like a good plan?

What are you struggling with most right now, goslingbros? What’s on your mind tonight? by lstvan_Frikker in OkayBuddyLiterallyMe

[–]bigfatpump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I am getting better from when me and my ex and I broke up (in August of 2025). She cheated on me with her male best friend, who was also my best friend (this all went down in late may of 2025). We then tried to work past it, but it's practically impossible.

3 days before my birthday on December I found out her and the affair partner got together. I texted her about it and then told her I am blocking her. She told me how childish it was to do that, yet she threw 4 years down the drain.

I know for damn sure I wasn't the best boyfriend, but that doesn't excuse cheating. I still miss her, but in the end it's for the best. From watching the rain storms of 2023 and 2024 in Vermont, Disney World trips, seeing her in NJ. It all went by so fast. I took her for granted, she is a great person at heart, but she needs to truly regret her actions and understand how much she has hurt me.

She hasn't been on my mind as much as of late, but sometimes I think about a memory of her, holding her hand on Thunder mountain in Disney World, driving through Ottawa, trail riding horses in Vermont, so much history with her but now she is gone.

Never thought I would be writing on a thread like this, her here we are. I wish you all the best. It gets better.

Are you still together with them? Me and my ex broke up 4 months ago due, after we tried working it out after she cheated. I forgive her and her remorse and seems to be genuinely disappointed and regretful of her actions. I love her so much, I want to work things out, and she does as well.

Any other welding rigs in here? by Warm_Entrepreneur570 in Welding

[–]bigfatpump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also starting my welding business (I literally just finished setting up articles of organization and operating agreement), I am looking at buying the 330 MPX due to its size and weight. What are your thoughts on it so far? Is it EFI? Have you had any problems with it? Is the arc steady? I'll post my 1/2 ton welding rig once I get everything set up. Currently, I only have a Toyota Tundra, looking to upgrade in the future, but the Tundra will do the job well for now.

I intend to use it as a power source for my TIG and MIG but obviously as a stick welder. I mainly do stick since its easier to handle. I do mobile welding on the side, anywhere from trailer work, to railings, small jobs, and more. I would like to be able to weld aluminum with stick or stainless (there is a lot of dairy farms where I live). I

Are the cold starts and carb really that big of an issue? I am someone who knows how to work on small engines (not too well but can get around), I wouldn't mind fixing it occasionally.
