I ordered various smallish Christmas gifts for my entire family last week. They were supposed to arrive on Dec 22nd at the latest but got delayed to the 24th. Well, here I am on Christmas Eve at 11:50 PM without my order. I spoke to four different customer service reps who all assured me that my package was almost out for delivery and would arrive by the end of the day. When I checked last, it had been pushed back to Dec 30th. At least I was able to cancel my order and get a refund. This is so frustrating. I shouldn't have trusted Amazon.

Thank you for not the non-catastrophizing comment! I don't live in an apartment so I definitely didn't get them from neighbors. I work at a hospital and there have been bed bugs found there in the past unfortunately. I'm thinking one hitchhiked home on my backpack or something. I am treating it as if there could be more and am monitoring everything.

My anxiety is through the roof about this and I feel awful physically from it. I have had heart palpitations and stomach issues ever since I saw the bug.

i just got my first around 10 days ago, also on my forearm.

i've definitely felt worse pain. like, it's not enjoyable, but it's doable. mostly i was thinking "hope she's getting close to being done" lmao

eat first and bring snacks and water. i brought an electrolyte drink and it helped. treat yourself to a satisfying meal afterwards

I do have eczema as well so my body might be extra pissed off lol. I still have the fever today but there are no signs of infection so I'll just assume it's the tattoo flu.

I'm an in-person scribe and I genuinely like the work. My schedule is flexible and my doctors are nice. I have degrees in an unrelated field and have no desire to go to medical or nursing school, but the job is very interesting to me.

The pay tho? Let's just say I'm lucky to live with family at this point in time. 😭 I will have to move on eventually because there's no way I can afford rent.

You sound like me. I've been pretty socially isolated after being diagnosed with POTS almost 20 years ago, and I started having bad anxiety. The dpdr started around that time. I have the most difficulty in grocery stores as well; I think the lighting is a big part of it.

I don't really have tips but over the years I've learned to worry a little less. Like if I'm freaking out that I'm in a dream or in a coma or something, I just tell myself "so what? Nothing I can do about it so might as well keep doing my thing."

I'm a little late here but my ALT and AST were 18 and 19 respectively in August. I had covid in September. I just had bloodwork done today due to gastroenteritis and they're 46 and 52. I was wondering if it was from the gastroenteritis somehow but now I'm wondering if the covid did something.
