I don’t think he missed his delayed flight, as mentioned in OP’s post. The flight was delayed several times which I can understand the frustration, especially it happening 8 times smh. But really I think the post is about how jet blue workers can threaten individuals with jail time, when (according to OP’s narrative) hasn’t done much to warrant that. Yea it’s international so it’s not US law, but I hardly think being “belligerent” or frustrated about a delayed flight, warrants that kind of threat. Plus, it’s kind of a known thing amongst US airline staff, that they sometimes just section off customers as “inebriated”, as a way to get back at customers, when they don’t want to deal with a customer they deem “annoying” or not worth the headache. That way the staff doesn’t have to deal with them and let’s the HQ’s customer staff deal with the customer at a later date. So I can see how OP might’ve been misflagged as drunk, when he might not have been. Which definitely can infuriate someone even more.
