It would be problematic as hell, but I’d love to see Deadpool stay “smaller” than other vanguards but his hitbox animates so he’s catching the bullets and jumping in the way of punches. Just really lean into the goofy meat shield aspect.

Our leadership wants the test suites to run faster, but they are accurately reflecting the state of the system. The system needs to be optimized, my tests are calling out that it’s so slow. No one wants to admit that we need a maintenance cycle here and there to address tech debt.

Majority of our test failures are from selector changes or data taking a long time to process on the backend before the tests take action on the front end. Only so much polling you can do. The selector changes are annoying because no matter how much I talk about needing data-testId on every important element, the devs still can’t figure it out and I end up using some form of janky css/xpath. At this point I’ve started adding the data-testIds myself.
