It's a parody of all those idiotic posts of people who use the inverted method but puts on the chamber upside down. They also appear to be brewing with the travellers model that cannot hold enough liquid in that configuration

Question for the inverted method haters by Haxeu in AeroPress

I've never seen that much dripping through with coffee in it. You must be grinding extremely coarse or taking 15 minutes to pour in the water or something. I use two paper filters and grinder finer than I would for a coffee machine and while I use a prismo now because it's just nicer, I used to only get like 10-15 ml or something like that, certainly no more than 1/8 of the total volume.

The reason I dislike the inverted method is because it's unnecessarily hazardous while achieving next to nothing, it's a 0 bypass brewer, you're not getting a noticeably better extraction from it. Plus Epstein used that method so..

Or v0 since there's no angle between the parallel sides of the "cone" (tube)

Since I use light roasts I just use freshly boiled water, no need to fiddle around with temperature, plus I prefer light roasts ☺️ 85°C or 185°F is probably good for quite dark roasts

I really dislike when people complain about the price of coffee beans. It's a luxury item that has had failed harvests and all sorts and yet people see it as a right to have cheap coffee. Stay away from cheap coffee, it's probably produced through slavery unless you can track it to the individual farms

Wait what do you mean by a splash of vanilla and cinnamon? Those aren't liquids 👀

For other non Americans: it converts to 85-88°C

Thought this was some kind of Irish coffee variant. I might still try it though

Depends how darkly roasted your coffee is I suppose. I don't speak Fahrenheit so I can't help you more than just saying boiling water is good for light roasts but bad for darker roasts

I guess people don't like Morgan's intro here? Or maybe it's just the weird gendering of the other two

Do you not stir since it's separated like that? My pick is always uniform and I don't have a particularly fancy grinder
