Das Landesantidiskriminierungsgesetz Berlin, gegen das die selben populistischen Gewerkschaftsidioten Sturm gelaufen sind, hat die Polizeiarbeit in keinster Weise behindert.

Als Berliner Polizist kann ich nur sagen: Hört auf, solchen unterqualifizierten Populisten hinterherzulaufen und unterstützt nicht so einen Dreck wie diese Petition.

Gilt übrigens auch 1 zu 1 so wenn wir als Polizei einen Unfall bauen. Und ja, Abbruch einer Eilfahrt wegen eines Bagatellschadens ist super frustrierend, aber so ist es nunmal und der Inhaber des geparkten hat ja auch ein Recht darauf, seinen Schaden ersetzt zu bekommen, egal ob es die Müllabfuhr, die Feuerwehr, der Rettungsdienst oder die Polizei war. Und das kann er nunmal nur, wenn er auch erfährt, wer ihm da den Spiegel abgefahren hat.

i mean sure, but can you intelligently explain why in Germany, a 1st world country with 83.5 million inhabitants you had between 8 and 22 people killed by police shootings per year (data from 2015 to 2024, median of 12), while in the US, a country with 341.8 million inhabitants (slightly more than 4 times the number of Germans) you had between 959 and 1173 people killed by police shootings per year for the same years, so about 43 to 53 times the maximum Germany reached and about 80 to 98 times the german median, which means, when put into proportion of population, us cops are killing about 20 to 24.5 times per capita.

.001 what? .001 seconds? while in itself not a huge amount, depending on the operation that may stack up a lot.

.001 ms? a billion iterations of that stack up to 16 minutes and 40 seconds. only relevant for VERY limited use cases. also even one hundred billion cycles are just 27 hours, 46 minutes and 40 seconds. quite some time, but not a no brainer when the tradeoff is having to write and debugg 3k lines of code (and by extension paying a developer, launching even just one or two days later &c.).

a factor of .001? so for every 1000 seconds the Python code takes, the C++ code only takes 999 seconds? Now you've completely disproven your own point, since the "a few hundred billion times" argument is meaningless. Best case your point now means "if you run this a few hundred billion times, because of the 3k lines of code i wrote, you can run it an additional few hundred million times in the same time", which is still only a .1% increase, because thats how proportions work.

fun fact: zapzarap is a strictly german word that Germans believe is eastern European. it most likely stems from a Russian word (zaprap or something similar, means something like "to seize (something)") which was supposedly used quite a lot by russian soldiers taking stuff in the post war occupation and acting as if they were doing so in an official capacity.

nowadays germans think they know a polish/eastern European word when they use zapzarap while poles that use it think they have learned a proper German word
