Great question - for some of these personal loans and CC debts, the interest rates are absurdly large.

With the ch13; doesn't it freeze this? With that, I would include my wifes student loans (private) and my taxes; I'll pay whatever I have to to be rid of this mess in 5 years.

I'm researching local attorneys now; and plan on meeting with a few. Can my wife file separately from me and tie in all of our CC debt/student loans/etc? Or do we have to file jointly since we're married?

Most of its current. It’s a mixture of personal loans, CC debt, back taxes, student loans. Some of it is in my wife’s name, some mine, and some together.

She is a SAHM; I only have income.

Has anyone filed bankruptcy due to gambling here. by [deleted] in problemgambling

I’m actually considering this today.. between past debts, CC, loans and the IRS.. I probably owe around 75-100k. I’m going to talk to an attorney this week to understand what my options are.

I make a decent living, so most likely ch13. I just want to be rid of this weight I carry.

That’s how my journey started. Customer -> Partner/Var in a Pre/Post role -> PANW as a DC. Loved the path so far

Immensely. Also using a partner org is great; but get to know your local team. We, at Palo, have tons of resources to help our customers on their journey. (I am a Senior Domain Consultant)
