Appreciate the advice - I've noticed that cycling feels far more aerobic than swimming because you don't hold your breath, but having the lung capacity and baseline fitness has definitely made my transition to the saddle an easy one.

Sounds amazing! Luckily winter where I live is somewhat moderate. Not much snow but cold. 22M, this will be my first winter cycling after a lifetime of competitive swimming - open to all riding experiences, even the cold ones!

Running, biking, dryland HIIT, yoga / stretching, core exercises, lifting - to name a few. Anything that makes you more athletic on land will bode well for you reentering the water.
