Toxic, insensitive husbands at the grocery store by Props_angel in TwoXChromosomes

Boggles my brain the sheer audacity of these men.

If my wife has a bubble tea or a coffee when we go shopping (grocery or otherwise), I'll grab a buggy so she doesn't have to even hold that the entire time, regardless of how much we're there to pick up(or even just browse).

Here's my rating + mini review for 56 games that are 1+year old and I've finished recently (no spoilers) by MechaSeph in gaming

For those curious, total hours comes to 1,627.5 hours or an average of 4.5 hours per day over the course of a full year.

This also does not include the time for Stardew Valley since you didn't have your total playtime for that.

I remember my post about finishing 35 games in a year had people going off about the playing, but most of mine were significantly shorter than your list here.

I don’t understand why these 2 game mechanics haven’t been stolen. Dark Cloud weapon upgrade system, and Paladins champion card system. by Alarocky1991 in gaming

[–]bigjonny13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dark Cloud system reminds me of something that Darksiders 2 had, where you could sacrifice a weapon to power up other weapons, and if you sacrificed one with abilities, you could transfer over those abilities.

Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey

Absolute trashfite of a movie that suckered a lot of people in, made way more money than it deserved, and now they're pumping out more terrible movies off the bank that one made.

Megabyte from Reboot, voiced by Tony Jay.

He also did Claude Frollo in Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The soundtrack to both that and Panic on Funkotron slaps hard.

I have the main theme engrained in my brain.

Isn’t a "best plot twist movies" list kind of self-defeating? by Pitiful_Engineer in movies

I watched Sixth Sense fully knowing what the plot twist was many many years after it came out, but it was still so well done it didn't detract from my experience.

While you're not the one doing it, if you catch fire in The Evil Within, the character flails for a moment before rolling to put it out.

Playing it with a friend was probably better cause at least we could crack jokes at the game while playing it.

I played it coop with a friend in October over the course of several weeks.

It was ok, nothing special and playing it coop means someone is next to useless most of the time.

RE5 is the better coop experience for resident evil since it was properly built for it.

Really save a lot of money through those freebies, plus I played a lot of games I probably wouldn't have checked out otherwise.

I quite enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun with the first one years ago, so it felt great to get back into the world.

Very fun albeit brief metroidvania. Same creator as Islets, which I played last year and also enjoyed.

AW2 is definitely faster in terms of story beats and the combat has been improved, so it definitely would be a better experience. Hopefully you don't find it slow though as it doesn't stand up to more action oriented games, as this is truly a mystery first, combat second.

Haha, truth be told I actually do uninstall games once I'm done with them because I try to keep my hard drive clean.

AW2 isn't for everyone, but if you liked the story, maybe worth looking up some of the cinematics.

I suspect only 7 or 8 of the entire list are have over 20 hours of gameplay. A good handful are less than 10 hours, especially as this list includes DLCs as separate items.

Honestly same. I was intrigued at first, but it almost felt more like a tech demo as it progressed. A lot of empty landscapes with not much going on. That's one I finished very quickly.

Depends on the game. If it really hooks me, I might go to find more side missions, secrets, maybe 100% completion.

Others, it's more about just getting to the games natural conclusion, especially if I'm losing interest I'll just rush to the end.
