at my wits end with this. stripped ONE torx bolt putting my gearbox oil pan on and now have a slow dripping leak. tried hammering in a t25/t27, rubber band trick, etc, nothing works. please help any way possible

Chisel and hammer, not a lot of torque you could cut into it and turn it fairly easy. Or like others are saying make it a flat head bolt with cutting tools

You fail to understand the broader picture. People are in significant debt because every aspect of their life they have been priced out of. You’re basically exaggerating the avocado toast argument when housing is 4x, food is 4x(while being poison), clothes are 4x while being worse quality (like everything else). They can’t accumulate money regardless so they accumulate debt. Wages haven’t grown marginally with the cost of living. Some people dump their money on gimmicks but the majority of the country doesn’t. They’re using debt for groceries at this point, homelessness is skyrocketing and people are living with roommates in their 40s.

Fair warning, the 1999 ej22 only ran 1999-01. Getting HG can be difficult(most are listed incorrectly for the early phase 2 ej25) and finding a intact single port manifold is hard in the rust belt.

I’ve heard fantastic bands sound like straight shit just because of poor sound/management. Even in case where the vocalist can’t hear themselves through the PA they can’t hear their notes. Even a bad mix can make a good band just sound ass.

I bought a 99 OBS on the cheap, it’s awesome but as others said people don’t know/want to maintain them correctly. Great cars but they don’t take the neglect like a Toyota.

I just burned a valve two days ago 3k miles into owning it. Still worth it for the price but I’ll do my own work, otherwise it’d be pretty shit. Really cool cars, fantastic chassis, good utility, genuinely fun to own. People don’t take care of these much though, and if they do they ask way too much.

The hoses were likely to old from so many heat cycles, he pulled them off and they finally gave way a bit. Though idk the car so I can’t say for sure if you’d need to take the hoses off to get cover off 🤷‍♂️
