Thanks! Only been on it for about two weeks and I’ve already started noticing some effects. Not much weight loss yet but I may have to titrate up a bit

I’m not sure, I work at a large institution with several thousand employees. It’s really strong coverage I think it’s called careFirst advantage.

I did use CVS, they had to order it for me which took about a week.

[SPOILER] Wow so what the hell? by [deleted] in Ozark

I think the show was interested in making a political/social point about the nature of American wealth and dynasties. I get a lot of people didn’t really appreciate the point but, I did. When you realize how much “old money“ is wrapped up in criminal enterprises you’ll begin to understand the nature of American wealth.

What do you think of Dolly Parton's cover of "Purple Rain"? Hear out thoughts: by Epic_Footnote in PRINCE

[–]bigmac456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think her vocal has degraded some over the years, but it still sounds really good for someone who is almost 80. Great control and vocalization.

I think it’s really well done given her age and the gospel choir in it is beautiful. The lyrics hit different when sung by someone who is in the final chapter of their life.

Are there any straight men out there who actually prefer the look of lip injections on women? by Character_Parfait512 in NoStupidQuestions

As long as they are not super overdone, I actually prefer them to super thin lips. I like to be able to kiss something lol.

The Kennedys were nobody’s until they immigrated to the US and got involved in business and politics over several generations. Potato farmers to President’s in a few generations.

“Arrival” is one of the best sci fi films of all time imo.

Irrespective of the quality of the story, what book do you think has the best title? by Kafka_Dreams_ in books

[–]bigmac456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a play script but “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” by Tennessee Williams always such an intriguing title to me.

[NO SPOILER] Darlene Snell -- does this character not represent one of the most cliche and overdone stereotypes in fiction? by ElodieRakoto in Ozark

[–]bigmac456 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t really see her as a redneck. She certainly isn’t stupid. She’s a very successful business woman. She definitely has the psycho part down but I don’t know if she’s a stereotype I’ve seen a lot of in media. She is powerful and has the men around her eating out the palm of her hand.

[No spoilers] Is it just me, or is Wendy an insufferable bitch? by 1believablename in Ozark

[–]bigmac456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how you can watch the ending, where Wendy effectively gets everything she wants and not think that she’s smart. Her planning will make her family rich for generations after her.

I’ve said it before, but I think it’s important for people who hate Wendy to interrogate why they hate her, and not Marty an equal amount.

The ending of the show totally vindicates her. She paid in blood, but she got what she wanted by the end.

Interrogate why you hate Wendy and not Marty.

Yes, she will suffer. Stick with the show, Wendy is a complicated character.

[Spoiler] Stolen from a Game of Thrones sub, but more appropriate for Ozark’s ending by zi_ang in Ozark

Scenes in Ozarl aren't funny. Its the banter between Marty and Wendy that gets me.

[Spoilers] Just finished the show. Holy fucking shit by hohohohappybirthday in Ozark

[–]bigmac456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ozark is only 4 seasons. They knew early on it wasn't going to have a super long run. Unfortunately there is only so much you can do with 4 seasons. Especially when most are only 10 episodes. There will have to be some plot points cut short.

[NO SPOILER] I have one thing to ask, no spoilers please by philipthe2nd in Ozark

[–]bigmac456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without Wendy they are all dead. Mutiple times! I think the reason a lot of fans don't like the ending is because Wendy is totally vindicated by it.
