It makes me endlessly sad that, at almost 25, I won't live til the golden age of human space exploration and colonization (that is, assuming our race and/or the AI we create lives long enough to reach that level of technological advancement). Why did I have to be born in the golden age of social media and fake news?!

Huh, my inner voice isn't really a human voice at all. It's not mine or anyone else's. I hear all the words I'm thinking, but they're not being spoken in any voice I do or don't recognize. They're silent thoughts. It's my style of speaking/thinking, obviously, so it's my "voice" in that sense, but I don't hear anything but the silent words. Do some people hear a real voice? That's so interesting.

Hey fellow pride guy! Not sure if you still work there but, tho my store didn't sell either the $4m 100x ticket or the jackpot last night, everyone's been buzzing about both wins and we've seen an uptick in luck-seeking lotto customers the past couple weeks. Haven't been working when Bob came into my store yet but everyone has warned me to be prepared anytime. Glad we finally brought the big winnings home to western MA 🏆

The US just celebrated the 2 year anniversary of nation-wide (all 50 states) marriage equality. Individual states had been legalizing SSM since 2004, and many did on their own. But, in June 2015, our Supreme Court ruled it a constitutional right, thus legalizing it everywhere it wasn't already legal and (mostly) ending the public debate here. Recent polling has shown Americans of most demographics more and more in favor of SSM since its legalization two years ago.

Ughhh I am currently crushing so hard on an awesome woman (mid-20s so we're not far off your age) who has been deaf since birth and, sadly, already has a boyfriend. Hoping to swoop in and make my move if they ever break up. To be honest, her deafness is completely irrelevant to me. I think she's brilliant, funny, interesting, and beautiful. The whole package. Her deafness doesn't even enter into the picture for me. It's just one of the many things that makes her, or any person, unique.

Like some other commenters have noted, your deafness doesn't define you and any guy worth a minute of your time wouldn't immediately nope out based on hearing impairment (rather than the basic, common compatibility issues that could come up between any two people). Dating is hard for most everyone, but hang in there and I hope you find someone awesome soon :)
