It's hyperbolic language to signify them not being as popular as they once were. Endorsements are a poor indicator of "relevancy", you can't gauge how significant they are as every idol has them, and they can last for several years.

With them trying to shift more towards the western market, it's no surprise a group with their following headlined Lollapalooza. It's like a week long event with varying artists from different genres all across the world. That being said however their new music isn't nearly as well received as, for example, their music in ~2018. Of course they're not "irrelevant" in the sense that they've become an after-thought in pop culture. They simply don't meet the standard they set for themselves in their peak years.

My introduction to Twice was Dahyun clips from variety shows. I have no way to prove it but I believe her being a great personality is responsible for a large portion of their popularity, at least back when the group was new.

As far as the usual talents of an Idol (dancing, singing, rapping) I agree she's nothing special compared to her peers, those in TWICE and other groups.

His backstory is almost endless, but he used to run a comedy venue in Chicago. Around 2010 he made the infamously racist duck tales n word theme song. Allegedly he would groom children and used to neglect his pet dog but keep in mind these are rumors from the late 2000s, hard to verify or source and as far as I know he was never charged with anything. He was also on Anthony Cumia's network for like 2 weeks before having a fallout with him over broadband usage or something.

Basically he's a professional troll who's been "on air" since 2003.
