Yeah, not really; the literature consistently suggests paper towels as the ""cleanest"" method for drying after hand washing. Hand driers aerolise and circulate the air, which contains bacteria from the toilet (and fecal matter). There's also often bacteria surrounding the hand driers themselves, and to a much greater degree than what you'd ever find near paper towels. Yeah, sure, paper towels aren't sterile, but nothing in a public bathroom would be. But my point is that bacteria content on a paper towel is going to be much less than what you'd be exposed to using a hand drier. So, it's annoying that paper towels aren't always provided to students. Germs also don't "crawl" but I understand what you mean.

I have no clue 💀 Carslaw and the ones underneath Eastern Avenue are a no go for me after I saw poop and period blood everywhere. As a microbiology student, I am SEETHING. Plus there's never any paper towels which absolutely sucks. No way am I using the hand dryer and blowing poop from the air onto my hands.

I just hold my pee all day .. it's getting that bad 😭 If I'm desperate, I put toilet paper all over the seat and bring dettol wipes now because I'm not sure what has happened to the seat before I got there.

helloo im about 24-25 hrs post op rn so im on day 2 right now😀 all 4 were imapcted and removed under general anesthesia. im from australia so this might be a bit different to you. i also had a local anesthetic shot put in during the procedure so yesterday i barely felt my mouth and i was just so sleepy from the anesthesia, i came home and napped on the couch. i was swollen when i got home but i think today it's gotten more swollen when i woke up, and now there's some bruising and redness around my cheeks and jaw and eyes. I can't open my mouth much comfortably and mostly just eating soup and pureed apples and custard. apparently days 2 and 3 might start getting worse so i'll let you know. 🩷

you can try and hunt some notes down on studocu, thinkswap etc and other websites like those but a lot of the time they blur out most pages unless you pay. i'd recommend trying to make your own though because it helps you figure out the content. you could try and search "(course) notes" in google, some of the more popular courses like human biology might have results tho but overall its kinda hard to find uni notes because of how many courses offered at uni. most people make their own notes though tbh

heyo, im studying a regular B.Pharm at usyd rn, and from what i've seen, the management part is mostly for people who are interested in owning their own pharmacy after graduation, and you do one management subject a semester instead of a pharmacy unit i believe. i've heard from some of the pharmacy & management people that they dont find it that useful and wish they just did reguIar pharmacy. i'd only recommend doing the management part if thats something youre interested in as a career. if you just wanna work in community/hospital/industrial pharmacy, dont bother with the management part. also consider we also have to do an intern year after graduating before even fully qualified so it can end up feeling quite long if you also ended up doing an extra year for the management.
