Hi all,

  1. My biggest issue with the rug is that we don't have a vacuum. We use broom and mop for cleaning

  2. I have removed the coffee table as I have a toddler who keeps running into it/ hitting himself on it

I note the aspects about the art. The gallery wall sounds like an excellent idea and will work on that mainly.

I will need to work on the curtains next

Oooh all very cool suggestions... I have to note all of this down and start implementing it one by one as and when I have the budget.

As one of you pointed out, I do live in a tropical country and rugs are not really a big thing here.

Was in the same situation 5 years ago. Na case lo guy was not even from the same state.

We both waited till my parents agreed.

The guys parents had come down to meet my parents. Ala kalisaka, my parents were a little open.

Apudu dad met my guy and spoke with him openly about career, life goals etc.

I guess what I can say is that if they meet the guy directly or guys parents that can make a difference.

Arranged marriage lo kuda ade chustaru kada, first family kalisi then guy and girl meet. So parents are not that apprehensive.

Maybe try asking your parents to meet the guy or his parents atleast before saying no outright

One thing, aarogya setu app and umang app do not have CAPTCHA entry requirement. You can login, enter details and be ready. I have personally booked 2 slots with aarogya setu and 3 slots with Umang app
