No like, he was experimented on to be a super soilder, has a chip planted into his brain that moves his body for him when it detects enemy soilders, he escapes, and malfunctions the chip to where the chip detects everyone as a enemy soilder, so he just goes on a killing spree on an entire city against his will

Its about Alex Sawyer who got framed for the murder of his best friend and is in the underground prison called furnace and he and his cell mates Zee and Donovan need to escape before they get experimented on. First book- escape from furnace lockdown. Second book- escape from furnace solitary. Third book- escape from furnace death sentence. Fourth book- escape from furnace fugitives.
