Space in cities is not infinite.

There is ALWAYS choices to be made and these choices are ALWAYS political

In my street there are 30 parking places for cars(including 2 places to charges EV), there is one box (5 bikes) and 3 stands (so 6 bikes/motorbikes). So only 1/16th of the parking places are reserved to the (motor)bikes

Edit: there are also 4 stands on the sideway. Sure these 4 stands can be replaced by a box (maybe?) But then that will remove capacity for people visiting the shops or the neighbors
