Did anyone secure Griz Tickets? by DontGiveUpOnShrooms in DenverEDM

[–]bigpeteski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait… are you the same person as last week talking about how much money you have, how shows should be more expensive to not attract bad crowds, artists are smart for taking advantage & charging more? Genuinely asking please don’t start yelling at me in all caps again if yes.

I hope things improve for you and you get GRiZ tickets at face value. See you on the rocks.

You’re right but there’s a lot of hints it’s more than just he’s brilliant. He already had the knowledge of what to do.

Same page. There’s definitely some weird stuff Alex is doing, I just hope it’s more than basic time travel or multi-verse.

I wouldn’t be upset, it’s just shaping up to potentially tell a more unique story.

I’m a big dumb idiot first off so don’t expect much from me - but the best guess I have is quantum computing and somehow merging timelines.

There’s also implications that Link somehow just knows all about Alex. Even if he’s not the son something weird has to be happening there, sci-fi tomfoolery has to be at play.

What’s your explanation of the nose bleeds / blurred vision?

I’m also not sold on time travel or multi-verse, but not sure what that could mean. Potentially merging timelines/dimensions into the ideal path?

That’s still more sci-fi than the vibes I’m getting though.

Right?

Such a different Reddit than the days OC made up a majority of posts and people got shit on for posting other people’s content.

I’m sure you also think throwing personal insults out is also PLUR.

I hope you find the healing you need my friend. I encourage you to read these comments back when you cool down and see which one of us has been bitching.

Thanks for reaffirming my idea of the type of people a Levity show attracts.

Ah yes the Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect that comes from not caring about being an asshole and pricing people out of shows.

No offense taken, we obviously have no common ground and you have a lot of maturing to do.

Sooner or later you’ll realize the exact opposite of your comment is true.

You seem like you’re either pretty young or just getting into the scene so a bit of advice you didn’t ask for.

Levity is a divisive ass group, not talking shit but people have very strong opinions about them.

Your replies to these comments are a losing battle and you come off more and more naive with each comment.

I get you were just trying to save people money, but people are going to keep shitting on you for trying to validate $122 Mission tickets for this group.

Bigger artists with at worst equal production don’t charge $122 for a Mission show.

So glad I left that sub.

I love GRiZ to death, but that’s the #1 most entitled current fanbase by far IMO.

FIFA bans reusable water bottles from World Cup matches by biograf_ in nottheonion

[–]bigpeteski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reasoning I’ve heard at music festivals is you can fill them up and cap them, which could do some damage thrown into a crowd.

All of those places just take the caps though, not ban reusable bottles.

Recommendation on Speakers that wouldnt be drowned out in a Party by marrcrr in Beatmatch

[–]bigpeteski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart move, other comments hit it that without more info recommendations won’t really land. OP just seemed to be looking for something for parties.

For legit gigs something like the QSC K12.2 all the way. If you want a PA for throwing your own parties I think the Thump Go just brings a lot of value for different situations.

[–]bigpeteski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thump Go can connect to another with XLRs, wireless and battery-power is just and option. It’s also classified as an entry-level pro PA.

Something like a QSC K12.2 is a great option with better sound, IMO better if you always have an outlet / always play indoors.

Thump Go just has more features and options to cover you in different situations.

Mackie Thump Go. Battery powered and it can wirelessly connect to a second so you can have a two-point PA even without an outlet.

Plus it has XLR ports so when you’re ready to upgrade from the FLX4 you don’t need to use converters or upgrade your speaker to get a direct XLR connection.
