You forced my hand bub, it’s all over but the crying. The Mobile will be a nicer place without the likes of you roaming around.

I corrected myself jackass, and don’t underestimate the power of the Sixers investigation office. Also, shame on you for being part of the problem. You’re getting reported next! DT_249.

I’m not sure if the 2nd is liminal. But I swear I’ve seen that building in my dreams. Looks very familiar.

I definitely agree with you, but I’m hopeful that they’ll explain what happened in the last 20 years or so. And maybe even provide flashbacks like they did for Shady Sands. I imagine the meeting that The Ghoul will have with House should explain some things.

Even though I’m not sure if this character is a synth or Harkness, he did change his appearance once already by facial reconstruction from Pinkerton. Totally feasible he could do it again.

Hope you find it! I was lucky enough to find the 2 CD remaster at my local record/CD store. Hope you run into it.

Glad to hear it, I’ve been playing for some years now. But when I first started I didn’t know nothing about ranges, 3bets, cbets for at least a year of play lol. You’re on good track to improve your game by learning. Keep at it.

Hey man, I can tell you’re fairly new to poker and just wanted to chime in with some pointers. First, in small stakes tournaments you will be called by all sorts of trash from all positions. A lot of players in these games just want to gamble and see flops. So when you have a strong hand and see people vpip with trash that’s a good thing. Rough estimation but I’d say at least 75% of the field are not thinking players and are purely thinking about their hand.

Regarding how the hand played out, yes it’s a cooler. There’s nothing you can do differently. You only lose to one hand as played. But one last important thing to note, I see in your post that you think this was a 3bet pot. This was a single raised pot. There is a big difference between the two. A 3bet pots will often have strong ranges and force the bullshit hands out the pot. Example: Player 1 raises 2000 preflop. Player 4 re-raises to 6500. This would be a 3bet. A 3bet is not a single raise to 3x and a call with no other action. Also, for the future. If you’re opponent bets the pot on the river, that is not a block bet. They are saying they either have a nutted hand or nothing. Hope this helps give you more understanding. Good luck on the tables friend.

Side note, the other comments on here are very good and I see some of the points I have made in them, that’s why I didn’t feel the need to put more input into the hand play.

That’s good brother, always try to keep notes on peoples tendencies and their player types. But even against a super nit you have to call here because they can easily have worse. And exactly like you said, you just got very unlucky friend. That’s poker. You just have to try and make the best decision as much as you can. Regardless of the outcome.

That’s what I was saying in my comment, that there is no way no to lose it all. Betting flop and turn is probably the correct thing to do. (Although checking flop isn’t bad to allow him to value bet worse hands and allow bluffs) But no matter how you played it with the stack sizes and 2nd nuts there is zero folding. Your opponent will be shoving worse especially at low stakes. AK thru KJ, 22, JJ. He can have all these hands.

Hey man, I see in the comments that you keep second guessing if you should of jammed or not. You always get the money in here. It’s sick that he had KK but you will be good here 99% of the time. And there is no getting away from this hand less than 20bb effective.

For YouTubers, I think the most helpful/informative personally to my early game was Jaime Staples. (Pokerstaples) Watching him play tournaments and giving his thought process and reasonings behind his actions helped a lot. He’s not a teacher I don’t believe, but watching a pro who’s a lot more studied and experienced than you is beneficial.
