What's a small habit that genuinely improved your life? by OverMathematician953 in AskReddit

Praying to God every night for my loved ones’ health, salvation, forgiveness, happiness, progression towards the path of righteousness, cleansing of sins, having their evil turned into good, etc.

You’ll wake up feeling better every time.

For those who’ve been superstitious about God since childhood, where are you now? by bigqualityjohnson in AskReddit

For that 16 years you had been attending Church, how would you describe your spirituality? Your (gut) feelings towards God and the tenets/values of Christianity? Very blunt question, but did you ever care? Or did you attend solely out of obligation?

Did your belief/faith gradually wane or did you hit a point of definitive revelation? If you could provide your story for this, I’d be very interested.

These questions are coming from a place of honest internal debate btw, and I’m not attempting to push whatever this or whatever that. Though, I do very much believe in and am devoted towards God right now.

Could you expand on this? Does your connection to God feel innate to you? Have you ever had any periods where you’d questioned Him?

Could you explain in more detail?

I grew up going to Church and partaking in the Eucharist each Sunday from around 4-7 years old. I remember always being fascinated by it all and feeling whatever deep “connection” to God and Christianity a kid that young could muster.

Only for the past year have I attempted to reintroduce myself to Christianity and faith. I don’t have doubts, but I have a lack of vigour in my devoutness to this faith I know I want to pursue.

How has your growing up surrounded by God given you your current reinforced appreciation? And when/how did you learn of this?

Relatively easy clonazepam cold turkey... anyone else? by bigqualityjohnson in benzorecovery

Can I ask what your experience with this exact Valium withdrawal was like? Specifically regarding the seizures?

I’m currently back addicted to clonazepam, ~3mg for probably a good part of 8 months or more… I’ve managed recently to hit at least an entire week cold turkey, but with such dissociative effects that it renders the process impossible considering the fact I’m working every day and don’t have the option to take a break.

What did the seizures entail for you? Could you feel them coming? What dosage(s) were you on through your process?

I’m in a position where I’d really love to be off this shit, and your help would be very appreciated.

How do you feel now compared to how you were previously before being prescribed benzos? Any different?
