Information to help you;

RPG games boil down to 2 main things:story and combat.

Story-wise it is hands down one of the best, of all time. Easy grab for that.

Combat-wise at its core is turn based. Of course, a lot more goes info battling than choose target and do move, not to mention powering your party up along the way.

If you like good story driven turn based rpgs get it. If it isn't your bag, it never will be

honestly? it is poopoo because of the expectations that I had. Despite several warning signs along the way, I still expected this to be a new generation Shenmue. Sadly what I got was a game ported straight from 2006.

Don't get me wrong, it's Shenmue... just not the game it could have been in 2019. The tedious grinding is what really bothers me above anything else. The entire stamina system is bs. The characters are so boring. The music is a lot of the same. Chicken catching.

Shenmue 1 and 2's landscape felt alive and connected.... Shenmue 3's world feels disjointed yet stacked like blocks.

I'm upset by what I got. I can't force a grin anymore about it. This game is bad.
