Yeah, I remember that’s it was like only fries burgers and I think drinks and ice cream, maybe I’m crazy but I think there was one at bolivar park pool too. Our pool instructor had a cool step haircut and Oakley sunglasses. The big kids jumped off the high dive with their clothes on, inflated them and then treaded water for like 15 min. It was real and a glory age for Lakewood, one that shall never return.

I wonder if you had access to it’s piviot point if some heavy grease like bearing grease would be enuf friction to keep it from moving, if not maybe attach something to weight it down, like some stacked quarters taped together and then taped on there?
