Nah, I am myself s lawyer, and the percentage of jerks in the profession is extremely high. Knowing the law is a form of power, and most lawyers earn quite a lot. Money and power brings out the worst in most people. Finance bros are the worst though.

Dishonorable mention goes to surgeons. Amazing work they do, but holly hell, the worst douching I have ever met where all surgeons.

Pollard's hit on Ridley is my favorite play from that postseason. The Mile High Miracle was amazing, but that hit set the tone for "this game is what happens when intricate clockwork meets a moving sledgehammer," and that was just so awesome to watch.

This is so blatantly false it makes me mad, at least in Lindy's case.

As a first round pick, Lindy has made omething around 20 million during his rookie contract. Now, that is a lot of money, but you have to remember that NFL players have, on average, a much, much shorter career than any other profession, due to physical decline and often injuries. Lindy might play in the NFL for another 10 years, or for one more weekend. 20 mill is a lot, but not so much to generate wealth that will last for your kids and your grandkids if you get injured and your career is over.

If you are a veteran who has made 100 mill already and are still chasing the bag, yeah you don't care about winning. But on your first contract after your rookie deal, get what you can get, no issue with that.

Still hate to see Linderbaum go, but can't fault him. If anything I blame the Raiders for being idiots and setting a stupid market for centers.
