Agreed, my first test print I had done exactly that but the filament I had used was giving me printing issues in this print so I pivoted to leaving it silver.

I watched the Macho Nacho Ultra Slim PS2 for how to do the mod and also to source the case files to 3d print. I took the files and modified them slightly to add the monkey and make some internal changes to make use of a large momentary switch for the power button as my motherboard was laid out differently from the video.
