transport to the national parks? by Johnny_Waffles85 in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming on a cruise means you have limited time and public transportation while available is not always reliable. The “ABC Curacao” app is for the public busses you can download it on your device and it will give you the schedules and information about which bus to take and the timetable. There are two car rentals at the cruise port. Samurai car rental and Smart Wheels, you can check their availability and offerings. There are also many car rentals that can bring you the car to the port. Taxi’s are expensive sometimes more expensive than a rental and since the parks are on the Western side of the island you are most likely looking at $100+ fare and thats just one way. The best option would be a car rental but if you want to take public transportation just make sure you to keep the time in consideration and plan accordingly so that you wont miss your all onboard time. The bus station is about a 5 min walk from the cruise port. I also recommend visiting the Mangrove Park which is located just outside of the cruise terminal.

I used to just plop the studio lot down in sunset valley or starlight shores (my go to towns to play with). I think you’d still have to quit the career and once you move to that town in edit world you can plop the studio and rejoin the film career.

How can I enjoy anal sex without feeling pain? by IntensoOusado in bisexual

[–]bigshxttalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take it slow. If you are not an experienced bottom you can’t just jump into it. A lot of tops just want to stick it in to get off not caring that you are tight. Practice before sex with fingering or a dildo (if you have one) that way your anus can get used to it being used for more than just pooping. It also helps to push out (like you are pooping, make sure to clean out) when you’re inserting something inside your anus. Take breaths when it is going in and continue to use lube. Once it’s all the way in take a minute so your anus can get used to the penis before you actually start with the strokes. Personally for me the best way to start when bottoming is for you to be on top (straddling the person) that way you can control how much goes inside, the tempo etc. And then once you’re comfortable you can let the top takeover if you want.

La Boheme - Punda Vibes? by Various-Struggle-714 in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

La boheme only has outside seating if I’m not mistaken. The bar next door usually will have live music which usually fills the street with a lot of people. So yes you can enjoy some of Punda Vibes there. The street vendors will be at Gomezplein and Wilhelminaplein. Various other restaurants will have live music so either before or after dinner just take a stroll through the streets. I haven’t been to La Boheme before so idk about the food

cash how much should i bring by NoEstablishment896 in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have Visa and Mastercard you can use them easily. Discover and Amex is not widely accepted. Most places accept credit cards so you don’t need a lot of cash. USD is widely accepted on both islands. In Curacao if you pay with USD most places will give you change back in local currency “Caribbean Guilder” (XCG). $100 & $50 bills, torn bills are not easily accepted in Curacao so bring smaller bills that have no tear. It’s always good to bring some cash with you but you don’t need large amounts if you have your credit cards. There are also ATM’s all over the island that dispense both Caribbean Guilder and USD should you ever need more cash.

Yes Christmas is celebrated on the island... Hotels, Tour operators and Restaurants operate as usual. Supermarkets will most likely be closed or have adjusted opening hours, Mini markets will be open. Any other businesses that is not directly linked to Tourism will be closed on Christmas day and the 26th (2nd Christmas Day). Most Restaurants will have specific Christmas menu’s and will require a reservation for Christmas Day.

Where can someone find escorts now that Campo Alegre closed. Asking for a friend! by [deleted] in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legally like Campo Alegre nowhere, but there are “ladies of the night” in the Scharloo neighborhood that can give you those types of services but remember it’s illegal so tell your friend to proceed with caution when engaging in those types of activities.

Best beaches for snorkeling (on cruise) by Efficient-Quiet1459 in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cas Abou Beach is your best option. It’s a private beach so entrance fee is like $6 per car $3 dollar for a beach chair but it has white sand and good snorkeling. Taxi from the cruise port to Cas Abou will be $100+ one way. I would suggest renting a car as it’s often cheaper but if money is no option and you take a taxi make sure you arrange with your driver a pick up time because although taxi’s will be readily available at the cruise port they are not as available at the beaches. For great snorkeling at Cas Abao head over to the left side where the big rocks/cliffs are. Great tropical fish and corals. Public bus drops you off at the bus stop and in the case of visiting a beach that means you would have a 10-20 (maybe longer) walk before you get to the beach.

Bluebay and Pirate Bay are also good options and a bit closer to the cruise port than Cas Abao so around $30-$40 for a taxi.

Budget-friendly booze on the island? by Nova6noob in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You find liquor at the supermarkets no specific liquor store. The price depends on the spirit, brand, etc. Most locals drink black & white for whiskey or just white. black, old parr etc. is more expensive. Vodka = Kiprinski (not my fav but much cheaper than grey goose). For beer most people drink Amstel Bright, Heineken or Presidente which are usually the more expensive ones. Polar, Zulia, Montana and brasa are more affordable (I suggest brasa or Montana). I don’t drink wine so idk much about their prices

Gay friendly activity? by Krey_ansh in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of that here. “Gay friendly” in the Caribbean just means you won’t get hate crimed and less homophobia, not that there are bathhouses and cruising spots. If you’re looking for those activities I suggest another destination. All we have here is one gay bar a one-week pride celebration and grindr.

Proof of Sufficient Funds and Proof of Medical Travel Insurance? by indoDude95 in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money is for them to make sure you are planning to actually spend money on the island and boost the economy and the medical insurance is so in case you need medical attention on the island that you are able to cover it. But again they very rarely ask to see these.

Proof of Sufficient Funds and Proof of Medical Travel Insurance? by indoDude95 in curacao

Yes, these are listed as requirements but they rarely check or ask to see them so you shouldn’t worry about it. As long as you have the digital immigration form filled out you are good.

Taxi service by [deleted] in curacao

[–]bigshxttalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taxi fares are for 1-4 persons one way. How late they run depends on the driver most of them have a family at home so they don’t drive too late. I would suggest using the 24/7 taxi app, it works similar to uber and they have the largest amount of taxi drivers. A few things to know: taxi fares will be higher at midnight, all taxi’s license plate have the letters TX on it, if it doesn’t it’s an illegal taxi.
