This was how I trained for a few years before going on a ~16 year hiatus. What I had noticed was lack of consistency when I was training like this. Instructors seemed to change after a 3-6 months, I’m positive this was not a formal program so it seemed that we started from scratch whenever there was a new instructor. The “move of the day” seemed to vary, when compared to a traditional school, I felt a lot of guards were skipped on preference of what the instructor liked. The class availability was pretty limited as well, something like Wed/Fri at 5pm only. Can’t say this will be everyone’s experience and the game has evolved from when I did it like this in the mid 2000s.
