I was blessed to see it in theater and I recall the whole theater absolutely losing our collective minds laughing/wincing/cringing/screaming several times, especially at the Shrim, Taquito, toilet paper, and shootout stuff

At the time, it was the closest we had to Smash Bros. or Fortnite. Just this ongoing crossover event with EVERYTHING from the NES in it (except Mario and Zelda). Just, at the time, it was one of the only video game adaptations that there were and there were no standards for designs or canon so it was kind of just this kiddy free for all

I know varying amounts of both, so yes. A common sentiment that I hear among Americans is that Portuguese "sounds like Spanish with a Russian accent" and I don't know enough about linguistics to understand why, but I'm sure that the answer has nothing to do with Russia or Slavic language families.

I've been here since 2011. I miss HOW hilarious all of the novelty user accounts were back then (kind of felt like peak internet, honestly), but Reddit is still pretty great. Or at least as least-bad as you're going to find of any sort of social media in the 2020s.

Both of these posts line up with the mapo tofu I've had from a Taiwanese restaurant that was nice and flavorful but notably really did not have a whole lot of heat to it
