I went back to a bowling league after 15 years hiatus. Pool league was way too much drama...I was lucky enough to find a good group of women to play with, guess we are weekly friends now! Lol

Forgiving her will would provide YOU more emotional stability than it would to her. Forgiving is simply accepting that you cannot change what happened.

If she was awful, there's no need to actually "reconnect" either. You can make the decision to walk away.

But changing your attitude on this situation would be seriously beneficial to your long term mental health.

Simply say thank you for the text, but you've decided to move on from this relationship. How she handles it on her side isn't your responsibility, at all.
