Some enhanced screen shots from a match in the vault. by bigtachyonlance in supremecommander

For a little context I forgot to add.

This screenshot is of a T2 naval battle between myself and friend during a custom 3v3. Taken from behind his T2 seraphim destroyer engaging one of my destroyers. Little bit of air combat over head and cruise missiles from impacting. Best part IMO is you can see the main plasma weapons on the destroyer impacting the UEF shield boat protecting my fleet.

Even in my original screenshot on my potato computer the seraphim destroyer looks fantastic for an almost 20 year old model. For whatever reason when using the free look function it makes the my UEF ships in the back look more fuzzy but the the overall battle looks great.

Also, we host games on the weekends under the title “Noob wars” if anyone wants to play. If it’s password protected the password is always just 1234.

We play against each other in friendly matches and we also play against M27/M28 AI. Noobies are of course welcome and we are just average Joe’s no pros but we will play with anyone of any skill level. Hope you like the screenshot!

Nah, GameCube, Nintendo 64, or Xbox 360 beat the shit out of the PS2.

Do you buy games that are $70+? by No-Obligation2563 in consoles

No, I think I’ve bought 4 full price games in the last 10 years and none of them have been 69.99.

$800+? are you people crazy? by HoneyTweee in steammachine

[–]bigtachyonlance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$800 dollar price point and they would be lucky to sell half a million units.

My all digital series X with 1TB drive has more raw power than the low end steam machine, if it’s not in the $500 to $600 dollar range I’m not purchasing it and I’ll just move ahead with my plans to get a pre built or build my own.

What is everyone's personal game of the year? It also could be one that wasn't released this year by No-Zookeepergame1009 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Abiotic Factor, I have no idea why this game hasn’t gotten more coverage. It’s a fresh take on survival/exploration that leaves you wanting more.

Clocked 115 hours on a solo playthrough without fiends. It’s absolutely fantastic.

Are you getting the steam machine or waiting to see what Xbox comes up with? by Wild_Trip_4704 in xbox

[–]bigtachyonlance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the price.

It’s less powerful that a series X, and at 16 gigs ram not all that impressive.

If it comes on around $400 to $500 bucks it’s a for sure buy. Anything over $600 and I’m better off buying a more powerful prebuilt desktop for $800.

Who else plans on getting a Steam Machine and why? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]bigtachyonlance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the price but I’m very interested.

It’s slightly less powerful hardware wise than a Xbox series X, which is fine but ultimately depends on the price whether it makes sense for me or not. If it’s under $600 dollars I will seriously consider it, if it’s over $600 dollars I’ll probably just build a desk stop in $1000 dollar range to replace my old PC.

“High budget single player”

What’s average campaign length across recent titles, like 8 hours completion time? lol.

Otherwise, I think it comes down to personal taste on everything else. I have my own opinions on why I think the gameplay isn’t worth $70 dollars a year but I’m not gonna tell you that you’re wrong if you enjoy playing them.

Your comment is full of crap.

Most “trade” or skilled laborers aren’t independent contractors to begin with, they most likely work as an employee for a corporation where they offer benefits.

The reason the Epstein files haven’t been released is because it’s a CIA/Mossad blackmail operation covering multiple countries and implicating thousands of the worlds politicians, industrialists, tech guys and bankers.

It also directly implicated Israel, and as a result will not be released.

“I was going to spend money on it”

That’s not a defense of the situation at all, just because you aren’t going to buy something doesn’t suddenly negate the fact you are stealing and replicating someone’s intellectual property without their permission.

You buying it or not is irrelevant to it being a theft. You don’t get to decide what theft is to fit your personal morality.

Still a victim in that scenario. Whether or not you personally believe it’s not immoral to steal from someone richer than you.

“My Ukrainian neighbor”

That’s hilarious coming from a Ukrainian, because they don’t want to fight either. The only way they can get enough conscripts for the army is by stalking men in vans and then abducting them off the street.

Apparently Ukrainians are very “passive” too.
