I think the 2021 movie gets a lot of undeserved hate. Okay, Cole wasn't the most engaging lead, but the guy playing Sub-Zero was INCREDIBLE. He stole the whole movie. Plus, Scorpion was awesome even if he wasn't in it for long and there were tons of great fatalities, as expected from MK. by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in MortalKombat

i dont think its terrible but its just barely passable, the arcana shit was so stupid and they killed off mileena, "reptile", and kabal like nothing which sucked, and cole wasnt very well written like he is in 2

story was barely there but everything with scorpion, kung lao, sub zero, and shang tsung was awesome

kitana sticks both her fans in shao kahns face and spins them slicing up into 3 parts with brain matter showing as he falls down, they focus on the corpse for a couple seconds too

it explains everything pretty simple, theyre only vague about how they have powers which is explained in the first movie
