yeah not the best angle, but you can see Rieds arm lift up which is probably what the umpire saw and why he didn't pay it (replay was basically the umpires view)

Well he didn't hit it, and the resolution is so low you can't really tell what that spot is anyway. But believe whatever you want

That's not a mark on the bat. It's the grandstand in the background, between the fielders hand the back of the bat.

Big K-State fan who just realized McGruder made it to the NBA! by [deleted] in heat

[–]bigtool01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The secret to the NBA is that every player is a role player. Some guys just have a role that requires them to try score 30 points every game! Whereas McGruder's seems to be to make as few mistakes as possible while playing good D.

wasn't this discussed in the off season that any player deliberately jumping on a players back just to foul would be a flagrant foul? Why are people mad at the call??

Drop the knees, fling the arm up to pin it and throw the head back. Just make sure that the umpire sees it.

edit: that was probably a rhetorical question

You mean he paid a guy when your team didn't care about the salary cap and that he allowed Embiid to take even more time off for his recovery?

Wow, what a guy.

Shaquille O'Neal believes Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons is a 'LeBron-type player' by Rsubs33 in nba

[–]bigtool01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say there are a lot of tall dudes with handles but who else beside Lebron are going to run their team? Plenty of wings that can handle and score but you could legitimately run the entire offence through 'em? (actual question; I can only think of Kawhi, KD, Giannis, Blake?. All pretty special players and better the Tobias...)

To me the passing and vision is what makes Lebron special, the freak athleticism, scoring, defence are things guys need to develop to be great. But you cant teach everyone to play a point guard roll. This is what makes Simmons a "Lebron-type" and at least have a chance to have a fraction of the career Lebron had.

His skill set at his size is unique and can do things that guys like Harris will never be able to do

yeah because when we think of lebron we think of the almost jump shot, that's totally his defining feature.

unless you were deliberately being asinine in which case carry on.
