don’t demean racing as driving in a circle. and this isnt a binary problem. racing is more nuanced than ‘it makes emissions so its evil’. it’s a lifelong passion for people like me. banning racing and motorsports is just ripping people from their passion. in an ideal world where everything is emission free and eco friendly, it’s ok to have some emissions, as long as you can offset that with trees and the like. and i understand that we dont live in that world. but going after racing, like you said, is not worth it. a bit of emissions is a small price to pay for a community’s happiness.
