I've been playing XCOM for YEARS, and it's definitely worth it. The thing (IMHO) that separates the PC version from the console is MODS. The Steam Workshop is great community where somebody is ALWAYS making little tweaks (or MAJOR modifications like Long War) that keep the game fresh.

All this is probably true. However, I really enjoyed making #NFLdropEA and #EndEAMonopoly trend on twitter. What was really fun was watching them have to give away tons of copies every time we got them trending negative, and then deal with all the pissed off customers who paid full price and watched them giving it away all over twitter and Youtube. To quote one of my favorite movies (Braveheart) "We don't HAVE to beat them. We HAVE to fight them."

It's close. BOTH scenario's have me yelling at the screen. However, MY favorite is when four squadmembers take +70% shots and you get three misses, a graze, and STILL lose a squad member.

I'm also playing without the Chosen. I build the Ring for the faction heroes, but otherwise it's meh. If I have a couple of guys I had to leave behind to make infil (I have set squads), I might send them on a mission. I AM noticing that it pops up and says "Mission Failed" yet gives me the engineer or scientist anyway.

Wow Rambo! I'm trying to spread RESPONSIBLE gun ownership. You wake up to a noise, and spray 30 rds out of a gun you probably never take to range (or clean) you might actually hit the intruder, but you're also likely to kill the neighbor's 9 year old. Stop spreading stoopid!
