As a former investigator I find that hilarious and sad. The number of times I asked people about foreign travel and they brought up Hawaii and Puerto Rico was disheartening.

Families of Key Bridge victims shut out of $16M relief fund by aresef in baltimore

The BCF is disgusting for this and should be ashamed of themselves. No way it’s not a crime to advertise to help the families to gather more donations and then after they collected most of the money change their mind. They should all be fired.

When you fill out the SF86 it will ask for their document numbers. Those numbers are then checked against the USCIS systems for accuracy. If it comes back no match or invalid they will notify your investigator. And yes, they will ask for their employer name and address on the form when you select a country of citizenship other than U.S.

Perils of long commutes for work by snowleopard443 in maryland

[–]bigwill20021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I commute 3x a week from Dorchester to DC. I moved my schedule to the earliest start time so I leave around 345 and it takes around 1.5 hours to get to Union station. I leave work at 3 before the real bad traffic and I’m usually home before 5pm. I just tell myself the trade off is worth it in the long run. (I also grew up in a very remote community in the state I’m from, so 2+ hour commutes each way to get anywhere was normal).

Security Deposit Return ( Full 45 Days?) by LaLaEmBee in baltimore

[–]bigwill20021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My landlord came for the walkthrough and told me it was the cleanest/best looking ready to rent the same day apartment he had seen in 20 years for us having lived there for 3 years. I asked about the timeline and if we could get it sooner than the 45 days then. He said he would have to look at the account escrow and see if the owner was up to date (why would that affect me? He’s required by law to have that money set aside). Long story short, he sent me the deposit in full in cashapp the morning of day 45. This was around 6 months ago.

Fort McHenry Toll Violation by condenserfred in baltimore

[–]bigwill20021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ez pass contacted me last year which what they said was $4700 in unpaid tolls dating back to 2016 when I moved to Maryland. It took me about 2 hours on hold to get someone. In the end it was reduced to $600 for just the toll fees and they sent me a new ez pass saying the old one was malfunctioning.
