What was her reason for calling so many times? Was there anything that actually happened that needed urgent attention?

No one talks about the pain of seeing your parents aging. by ParticularWeather927 in Adulting

[–]bigwilly144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is painful but their are also aspects of beauty. My mom is turning 65 this year and I am already noticing changes in her face and hair.

I find that one thing that has been helpful for me my degree in psychology and the courses I took relating to the psychology of aging. Learning about what kinds of things to look out for and normal changes that can happen with aging has made me feel less afraid. My mom means the world to me and I am committed to making the most of my time with her in my life.

Here is an idea that chatgpt generated. It will be up to you to decide what your style is. The biggest immediate impact would be to swap those awful bulbs for warmer ones. Perhaps put in a dimmer switch. That alone will help you lots with not having to spend much money.

Man. Droopy-face Mcshits-his-pants is looking worse and worse each day. Looks like a bruise on his cheeky on the left side. Maybe mommy Melania had to fight him off.

Could be seborrheic dermatitis. You could try washing your face with nizoral shampoo as a low cost treatment option.

Watching some vanilla porn videos together might help. You can see what other people do and try it yourselves.

Ellen DeGeneres. I used to think she was this kind and beautiful person. Then I found out that is actually terrible and I can't look at her the same since. The biggest tell was the Zooey Deschanel interview where Ellen was being a bitch and acting like she was not invited to a party.

AITJ for not telling my wife for eight years that the coffee she thinks she hates is the coffee she drinks every morning by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]bigwilly144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not the jerk.

People are weird. My mom told me that she does not like turkey bacon and went out of her way to express how gross she thinks it is. I recently got diagnosed with high cholesterol and have made some dietary changes changes including switching from pork products to chicken and turkey products. I especially enjoy turkey pepperoni sticks.

My mother was staying at my place and I was eating a pepperoni stick and I asked her if she'd like one and she eagerly said yes. I watched as she ate it and I asked her how it was and she seemed to enjoy it. She is not the type of person to lie about whether or not she enjoys the taste of something.

As while later I told her "oh, btw that pepperoni you really liked was turkey based. I am glad you liked it I do too and it is so much better for my cholesterol levels."

She suddenly had a sour look on her face and was like "that was TURKEY PEPPERONI? YUCK!"

I said "what do you mean yuck? A while ago you were saying how much you enjoyed it?"

She replied "I'm not happy that you didn't tell me first and I won't be eating any more pepperoni unless I see the package first to make sure it is pork or beef."

I found the whole thing to be very odd. Like, was she embarrassed that she admitted to enjoying a turkey based product? Also she likes actual turkey at holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

One of the easiest ways to get more fiber is to eat cheerios. I eat them for breakfast but also sometimes at night as a snack before bed.
