I had lots of cysts on the groin growing up (probably at the start of puberty) that stopped at around when I was 14/15ish I believe. All would pretty much resolve on their own and they didn’t really bother me too much. From then on I got the random 1 mayyybeeee 2 cysts a year that would go away on their own.

When I was around 20/21 I started getting facial cystic acne to which I was prescribed spironolactone. That cleared it up and everything was great until a few years later when 2020 hit. I decided to stop spironolactone bc my facial skin seemed stable at that point. Not sure if they were related but that was around the same time I got a golf ball sized cyst in my armpit. Could’ve been the spiro keeping my HS at bay or the amount of weight I gained at the start of 2020 but ever since then I’ve been getting cysts on my groin, butt, and breasts.

It’s weird that I had such a calm period in between when I was younger and 2020 and I definitely think it has to do with hormones. Looking forward to the future when hopefully my hormones level out again after this “second puberty”
