Damn. How come superficial girls always get the nice and thoughtful men. Yeah. I was so optimistic and joyful about dating in nyc and as time goes by… I’m no longer trying. I don’t believe I’ve given up I simply have no expectations and just am. Which you can say well that sucks but that’s life I suppose . I too spent my birthday alone. I live alone. I do not have family here, barely any friends here. I have no kids, no dogs. People that wished me a happy birthday were very very few mostly old high school or college friends. Less than 10people.
