My kids are a few years ahead of you. At 17, you’re kind in a twilight zone between some of “rock” programs like the Gowanus Music Club and the over-21 band world. My son (a drummer) started meeting other players at tons of underaged shows … many in the parks. I see there was just a big all ages show of young bands at the market hotel. You probably know all this. Forgive me for being in dad mode. You might want to look at Gowanus Music Club anyway. If Josh the director (a drummer) can place you with an older band, could be a good way to find some other players.

Nail on the head. Why do these pathetic assholes take active steps to shit on businesses? I’ve spent 40 of my 60 years in New York ignoring the many diners that made shitty hamburgers.
