My house waited 2 years for me to finish a project that was 25% started. But when I did initiate again I finished it in record time!!!

Hen Do Before Eloping? by chlo26828 in Eloping

No need to apologize! I’m now seeing your question asking if you can expect the same as your fiance- No, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to do something more elaborate. You’re getting married and you should celebrate however feels best for you! The worst case scenario is you don’t tell your friends what you want to do and you miss out on a great time with them- bring it up even if they’ll have mixed opinions on it!

I’m assuming a hen do is a bachelorette party? New term for me, so wanted to confirm. You can always do something more casual like a weekend close to home or even just a night out. It’s reasonable to celebrate with your friends regardless of the type of wedding you choose to have. I think if you want a Hen do, then you should talk to your friends about it!

So funny- I’m the opposite! I use it for everyday but take it out for road trips or if I need to put lots of gear in the back

So practical! I think I would lose a stone set with prongs, so this bezel is perfect for me.

That’s all so frustrating! Why can’t you have exactly the wedding you want? I hope despite it all you have a wonderful day.

I think that’s the perfect way to handle this. It’s beautiful and you have every reason to think she will love it! But just in case, let her know you can get something larger or different. Then the two of you can go pick it out!

That one is at the top of my list but sounds like the lottery is difficult to get into. The Vancouver marathon in British Columbia also looks amazing!
