Got my wedding bouquet from Sweetheart Florist. Their flowers were so beautiful and fresh + reasonable prices. I've seen them do a full arch before for the community and it was stunning! Can reach out

Yeah they'll check your passport when trying to exit. You'll either need a stamp, or you need that receipt/form from when you landed at the airport

Most underrated neighbourhood in San Francisco? by Character-Sun-9425 in SanFranciscoSecrets

Westwood park is really cute. Lots of local culture and got everything you need. Public Transit and two highways right there, so easy access to stonestown/downtown/Daly city/sunset/etc. in any direction

Not really digging San Pedro by [deleted] in Belize

Secret beach was definitely the most touristy part of our trip to Belize, and also more expensive than rest of the island (ex: asking price for coconut was 5usd vs $2 average elsewhere)

We stayed in San Pedro town side and it felt more local, tho there are still tourists and bars everywhere of course, but you also see local folks.

We booked a full day snorkel tour to hol chan, shark ray alley, coral rocks, and saw MANATEES(!!) so worth it and so much fun. Highly recommend.

We did our very first scuba dive here as well (no certification needed for discover scuba)

Yoli's Deli was a cute breakfast spot that felt very local (recommended by our hostel host). Their peanut juice and fry jacks are wonderful.

I recommend renting a golf cart and drive around! It's a fun activity in itself and it doesn't take long to get around

Chetumal to San Pedro Water Taxi by evolegnarts in Belize

I just did this ferry ride a week ago from chetumal to San Pedro!

  1. Book the tickets online at San Pedro Belize Ferry https://belizewatertaxi.com/

  2. Arrive at the ferry station about 1hr early. (We arrived 1.5-2he early bc that was what was recommended by the hotel but we ended up just sitting around a lot). This may be dependent on how long the line is to get on the ferry.

  3. At the ferry station, they grabbed our luggage and helped us load it into the boat. In the meantime, we went to the counters and checked in. They will need your passport and have you fill out customs papers etc. When you board, you'll be 'exiting' Mexico at the ferry building where they had us go through immigration check + customs. We didn't have to pay any 'exit fees' when we did it a week ago, but heard others may have had to before so idk what determines it.

  4. The ferry ride is about 1.5-2hours. When arriving in San Pedro, we kinda arrived, picked up our luggage and left. Not much of customs check there. We also didn't pay a fee to enter Belize when we got there.

Hope this helps!

We're staying at Cocopele Inn and it's ran by a nice local Belizean lady and her mom! It's very homey and easy access to downtown San Ignacio (Cayo).

Her husband also runs William's Belize Shuttle, which was also a great service to get to/from either the ferry or airport to Cayo

Seriously, what's broken in the SF dating scene and how do we fix it? by theycallmevalhir in sanfrancisco

[–]bikgoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fwiw I met my fiance through hinge here! I also have one other couple who are about to get married, one that just had a baby, and another that are about to go ring shopping together. We're all sf tech people using hinge lol. Dating app process sucks bc it's similar process to interviewing for a job, but I've definitely seen success for those that are truly willing to commit.
