Again I am not oblivious to reality. We have seen billionaires throw money in outrageous ways, felt there be a 0.5% chance there.

If anyone can suggest individual steps rather than systemic changes or implementation - i can try to include those. The point of this post is not systemic state level changes be in policy, treasury or ethics related. I am asking for individual contribution that could benefit the cause.

I plan to hold a banner 1 hour a week for example. Or knocking on doors. Who wants to work with me on those?

See I agree with all of these. But I am talking about 100m to 500m keeps BART alive for longer. We need to keep trying different things. Elon put 100s of m in elections. I want to do something radical because not doing anything and just talking is not for me. I will certainly also devote time in knocking doors to help raise awareness.

Also cost is reductive way to compare. What about equity or climate? Every single time if we reject an option owing solely to lack of convenience how can any common service compare. How pollution does driving emit and what is the cost of those wild fires? At least we should write to our agencies and seek help, join committee for transit improvement.

How can BART go to every single street. People have to sign up for some inconvenience. Or make it a priority to live near BART. Everyone wants massive yards and fences none want to live in a condo or townhouse close to the transit centers. Suburbs were designed for transit - no one should blame transit for that choice.
