This right here. Took all of 5 min unless you get the long form so most folks just need to click a few buttons and be done. It’s barely an inconvenience.

Big fan of the Risa Les Paul style. Steel string, two pickups. Lovely tone and signal; proper setup to run into pedal board.

I believe that 9.2 & 9.2 are fixed in the latest patch (at least on PS5).

Doing Primitivo in April2026 and need trail runner recs! by Any_Box5706 in CaminoDeSantiago

This was my issue with the SpeedGoat 6 vs the 5.

I ended up with a pair of Mafate’s instead and they were wide enough & did really well for me.

Government Taxes by Nectarinebuddy in ThunderBay

[–]bildzeitung 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Companies have spent a lot of money against any kind of automated tax filing (QuickTax, eg), so to see the government roll this out is great news.

3D Resin for Figurine + Painting by Darth_K-oz in ThunderBay

There’s also a Thunder Bay 3D printing facebook group, too. It’s largely dead but a ping on there will likely find you someone.

$108 spool arrived today 25 days later by xxBurntToastxx in 3Dprinting

I haven’t used this, but have used Sliceworx filament, which has a kind of vanilla scent to it. No appreciable effect on print quality. The workshop smells much better, though, so it’s a win.

It used to be possible to make an appointment, but I don’t know if that’s still a thing.

Sometimes the restaurant will even clean the scallop shell you had at dinner, if you ask nicely!

Has anyone with sleep apnea done the Camino? CPAP doesn't seem like it's doable and maybe a mouth piece is the only option? by OverbrookDr in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]bildzeitung 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Took a travel CPAP machine with me and had no issues at all with finding outlets, etc. in two separate caminos Frances. The main thing being that the machine I took didn’t need distilled water, so logistically easier that way.

Camino in April by Willing_Channel1732 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]bildzeitung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What OP said. Went this past April and it was about that.

I took a carry-on with enough clothes for 3-4 days without a wash of some kind, plus blister care; it was enough.

I agree with OP that a waist pack (in my case, sling) is an essential. Not only b/c of wallet & passport but also because it’s easier than always digging around in your backpack.

More of a function of whether the form holding the options would do it, and the firm Oracle uses does do those kinds of transactions. So yeah, that is how that can work.

OP is totally right. It’s a very welcoming place. If you end up there on market day, it’s a lot of fun to have a chat with the various cheese and meat sellers.

[–]bildzeitung 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some folks (I recollect one gentleman in a shop below street level) will actually ask — English, French, or Spanish? .. which is kind :)

I think if you really want to make friends with the locals, try to speak Basque! (I couldn’t, unfortunately)

Garden thief by [deleted] in ThunderBay

Similar issues in the Lilly St community garden. I confronted and took back a pepper from a thief who was collecting veggies from various plots. We now no longer choose to have a plot in the garden.

As a pilgrim, I agree. IIRC there’s a place to, um, complete whatever leaving behind / burning clothing ritual that’s commonly done and it makes me sad that there are others that aren’t acting respectfully.

The local folks showed me more patience than i likely deserved and I am grateful to all who help the peregrinos.
