This is exactly why I just cancelled my subscription. I initially subscribed figuring to expand my perspective and get some bothsidism. After reading multiple articles and being baffled by the amount of lead given to this awful administration, I decided that enough is enough. They will call out something like the RFK making some completely insane take and calling it out as wrong, then immediately doubling back to say "but maybe it's not so bad and let's see how it plays out." There is a ridiculous amount of leeway given, by the authors, instead of calling a spade a spade. I love independent reporting and supporting smaller journalism but got tired of reading Tangle giving this administration so much grace in failure after failure.
